KINGTON GOLF CLUB

Kington Golf Club is one of England’s finest natural inland links and noted for the superb quality of its greens. Dating from 1926 and designed by Major Cecil Key Hutchison, the course, which at 1284 is the highest in England, follows the natural contours of the marvellous Herefordshire landscape. Its free-draining nature makes it playable all year round, and whatever the season, truly stunning panoramic views over Monmouthshire, Powys, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire further enhance a unique golfing experience. According to renowned golf course architect Tom Doak: “If you enjoy seeing something different, you’ll remember Kington long after you’ve forgotten some of the championship links”. (The Confidential Guide to Golf Courses Volume 1, 2014).
